Aretousa - Sougia

Great location, only 5 mins walk to the beach and bus stop for Samaria Gorge hike. Manager was exceptional, helped us with luggage, and found my lost camera. Nearby restaurant was amazing. Clean and well-maintained apartment. Highly recommended!

It was perfect in general: bright room, good location just off beach and restaurants, Sougia, well off the beaten path and seaside restaurant strip. Thanks to really helpful and affable staff who made our stay a real good experience. One of the dining options, Smaragdus that was placed just a walking distance from the apartment was worth exploring: )

The staff at the 24-hour front desk were incredibly helpful and provided great information on the nearby Agia Irini gorge and the beautiful beach of Domata. They guided us with a smile, like tour guides on a thrilling adventure!

The shower water pressure could have been better, but it was still decent and didn't pose any major inconvenience during my stay.

Comfortable Stay: The furnished balcony overlooking the mountain made me feel like I was on top of the world! It was a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the stunning view after a long day of exploring.

No Balcony Cover: The lack of a cover on the balcony made breakfasts a bit challenging due to the rising summer sun.

Clean and modern room with air conditioning, located right by the sea 🌊. The property is close to some good tavernas and is in a great spot.

Just in front of bus stop, 5-minute walk to beach and restaurants. Very comfortable and complete little apartment. Mirko was very kind and helpful at all times. Lovely balcony for dinner. Perfect common area for breakfast and lunch.

super clean and spacious rooms - with free air conditioning. great location right in front of the bus stop. we stayed as a base to hike the Samaria Gorge. friendly couple running the hotel - went out of their way to make us happy. loved the access to a private balcony for sunset and another for breakfast.

We had a last minute one-night stay in Aretousa to walk the Samaria Gorge. Mirko, the amazing host, was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and had a modern bathroom. Everything we needed for cooking was provided. Mirko even contacted us after checking out to inform us that the Gorge would be open the next day. Great location, 5 mins walk from the beach and bus stop to Omalos. Highly recommended!

Perfect for those traveling by car. Convenient location near the bus stop and bakery for Samaria Gorge hike. Quiet town with bars and restaurants to enjoy.

New and immaculately clean with a large room and lovely patio. Up-to-date, spotless kitchen with helpful innkeepers who even did our dishes. Beautiful and calm location reached through a scenic drive. Kind and helpful host Mirko gave great advice on restaurants and hikes. Well-furnished, clean apartment with a great balcony.
